Policies & Terms of Service

Welcome to Kimberly Kingen Photography! By booking a session, purchasing products, or using our website, you agree to the following policies.

1. Booking & Sessions

Payments: Full session fee required to book. Non-refundable but can be rescheduled once with 14 days' notice.
Cancellations: Last-minute cancellations forfeit session fees. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened or canceled session.
Weather Policy: Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled for inclement weather; studio sessions proceed as planned.
Pet Safety: Owners must disclose behavioral concerns. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and remain leashed unless in an enclosed area or studio (leashes can be edited out in post-processing).

2. Artwork & Digital Files

Turnaround Times: Artwork takes 8-12 weeks; albums and large prints may take longer.
Digital Files: Included only in select collections or available for purchase. Must be downloaded within 14 days.
Retouching: Standard editing included (e.g., leash removal). Advanced edits may incur additional fees. RAW images are not provided.
Storage: Images archived for 3 months after final delivery; reorders may not be available afterward.

3. Products & Prints

Final Sales: All printed products and custom artwork are non-refundable. Damaged items from shipping must be reported within 14 days for a replacement.
Color Variations: Digital & Printed colors may differ slightly from screen previews due to monitor calibration differences.

4. Image Use & Licensing

Client Use: Personal use only. Commercial use requires a licensing agreement.
Commercial Clients: Businesses must purchase a license for marketing and advertising use.
Portfolio & Social Media: Kimberly Kingen Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, and social media. Clients can request privacy before the session.

5. Mini Portrait Events

Limited Availability: Offered on select dates only, 2-3 times per year.
Booking & Payment: Full payment required at booking; non-refundable and non-transferable.
Session Guidelines: Sessions are fast-paced and allow limited pets per booking.

6. Community & Rescue Support

Rescue Sessions: A limited number of donated sessions are available per quarter. Discounted sessions for rescues and non-profits are available on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire with Kimberly.
Fundraising: Kimberly works hard to give back to the rescue & her community, both as a monthly donor to non-profits and through other giving back efforts.

7. Privacy Policy

What We Collect: Name, email, phone, and payment details for session bookings and purchases.
How We Use It: To process orders, provide updates, and send marketing emails (opt-out anytime).
Data Sharing: We do not sell or share data except with trusted third-party providers for processing payments and email communications.
Data Management: Request data removal by contacting info@kimberlykingen.com.

8. Legal Disclaimers

Liability Disclaimer: Clients assume responsibility for their pets and personal belongings during sessions. See your contract for full liability details.
Cancellations & Force Majeure: We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Full details are outlined in your session agreement.
Image Copyright & Usage: All images remain the intellectual property of Kimberly Kingen Photography. Clients may not alter, reproduce, or resell images without permission.
Policy Updates: These policies may be updated at any time. By booking a session, you agree to the latest version of our policies.
